PODIUM PRESENTATIONS AND COMPUTERS
Information for podium presenters:
- Talks must be formatted to run on the PC provided in the lecture hall. PowerPoint presentation software should be used. Time and technological constraints DO NOT ALLOW speakers to use their own laptops.
- This means that Mac users MUST be prepared to use the PC. There will be NO exceptions.
- Talks should be uploaded from a flash drive to the lecture hall computer prior to 9 am on Saturday.
- You will have a total of 15 minutes for your talk and for questions afterwards. Please plan accordingly.
- You will be asked if you would agree to your presentation being recorded for posting on the MPIG website after the meeting.
Information for poster presenters:
- Your poster should be no larger than 4' wide by 3' tall.
- Posters will be taped directly to the wall, so lighter weight paper is preferable to heavy or laminated stock.
- You will be instructed where to set up your poster on Saturday. There will be several opportunities throughout the day to set up your poster.
- You and/or your co-authors should plan to be standing by your poster during most of the 3:30-5pm session.
